Visits to Our Pensioners ~ Mrs Alice Perks
Mrs Alice Perks broke off from her weekly computer course to meet Councillor Frank Docherty, Chairman of the Superannuation Committee who visited her to celebrate her 102nd Birthday. Alice still leads a fairly hectic life and during the week before her birthday she had gone for day trips to both Llandudno and Leamington Spa. Alice lives in sheltered accommodation in Wednesfield, Wolverhampton, but continues to cook for herself and thoroughly enjoys the social activities that take place there.
