Responsibilities
Wolverhampton Council, through its Superannuation Committee, administers the West Midlands Metropolitan Authorities Pension Fund.
The Fund provides pension services to over 175,000 current and former employees of the seven district councils situated in the West Midlands and over 180 public sector bodies in the region.

Members
Membership of the Committee includes Councillors from each of the seven districts (Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall and Wolverhampton) along with observer representatives from public service trade unions as follows:-
Councillors Singh (Chair), Bilson, Constable, Cromie, Docherty (Vice Chair), Foster, Heap, Jevon, O'Neill, Mrs J M C Stevenson, Warren and Yardley, Birmingham - to be advised, Mrs Millward (Dudley), Ridley (Coventry), Hussain (Sandwell), Kyles (Solihull) and Zahid (Walsall)

Meetings
Meetings take place at the Civic Centre on 
Wednesdays at 1400 hours in 2005/06 on the following dates: 29th June, 28th September, 7th December, 22nd March.
