Public Treasurer Investment Awards

The West Midlands Metropolitan Authorities Pension Fund, has received further National recognition for the high quality service that it provides to its members.

At the recent Pensions Management Awards 1999 the Fund was named as Large Scheme of the Year.  These Awards are open to both the private and the public sector.

Further recognition was received at the Dorchester Hotel, London on Monday of this week when it was named as Fund of the Year in the Public Treasurer Investment Awards.

Councillor Roger Lawrence, Chairman of the Pension Fund said “these are further examples of the significant external recognition which the Fund has received over the last few years.  These Awards confirm the commitment of the Fund’s staff to provide a quality service to its customers.  These successes would not have been possible without the support of the Superannuation Committee, Trade Unions and all employers in membership of the Fund.”
